An opportunity has arisen for a Scheduler to join Aberdeen Technical Services.  Whilst previous industry experience is preferred, it is not a necessity.  Candidates with experience within the fire and security industry will be fully considered.

 Reports to:                            Sales Manager

 Key Responsibility:              To work closely with the Sales Manager to schedule, monitor and control labour and materials

 Key Tasks:                            

  • Work alongside Sales Manager to program engineer workload (includes both ongoing and won work)
  • Regularly communicate with stakeholders (engineers, site agents, customers and suppliers)
  • Organisation and coordination of installation processes (RAMs, SSAIB certification, book labour, materials required)
  • Work with the Accounts team to coordinate service and maintenance work
  • Preparation of all Applications for Payment and Installation Invoices on a daily basis
  • Carry out job costing on a weekly basis
  • Supervision and monitoring of job hours spent against expected quote time
  • To take an active role within the continuous improvement of Company systems
  • To carry out any other job specific duties as deemed appropriate by the Directors of the Company

Professional Experience: (preferred but not necessary as training will be given)

  • Previous experience within a service scheduling role desirable
  • Knowledge of the Fire and Security Industry

  • To have proven business acumen and administrative skills
  • To have good organisational and time management skills
  • To be computer literate and proficient in all core Microsoft Office packages
