Scot-Tech Fire and Security (STFS), a Converged Group company, has appointed Jason Nisbet as Operations Manager. This newly created role comes one year after Converged Communication Solutions acquired and rebranded Aberdeen Technical Services (ATS) to STFS.
Jason brings 25 years of security industry experience to STFS, most recently as Regional Sales Manager for Chubb Fire & Security. His appointment marks the next phase of strategic growth, following a planned period of business stabilisation.
His impressive track record includes leading the design and successful delivery of a major security upgrade project across 22 sites for a global oil and gas company, managing major upgrades at Dounreay and Vulcan nuclear facilities, and overseeing critical projects for national government and MOD.
A significant coup for our business
STFS General Manager Andy McKay said: “Jason’s appointment is a significant coup for our business. His advisory approach to security issues and process driven methodology perfectly complements our existing operations. His collaborative leadership style aligns with our culture of teamwork, and he’ll be a great asset both internally and for our customers. I have no doubt he’ll help lead the business to the next level.”
Building on the natural synergy between virtual and physical security solutions
The appointment comes as STFS sees increasing growth from Converged clients adopting its physical security services, building on the natural synergy between virtual and physical security solutions. In his new role, Jason will focus on enhancing processes and driving efficiencies.
“My priority is to build on our team’s existing expertise while ensuring consistent, optimised service delivery,” he explains. “We’ll continue to partner with leading security brands including Hanwha, ICT, and Aiphone to deliver the highest standards of protection for our clients.
Committed to supporting local customers
“Fundamentally, we’re committed to supporting local customers. As large national security companies continue to close their local offices, this creates real opportunities for us to provide the level of service and peace of mind that local businesses need. And with our resources, expertise and can-do attitude, we are ideally placed to do so.
“Longer term, my vision includes adding NACOSS Gold standard certification to our existing professional accreditations, implementing an effective customer relationship management plan, and building a sustainable operational structure to support the company’s growth.”
